About Us:

Hi, I'm Chris. My co-founder Rob and I started Four/Four to help solve a recurring problem. When companies grow rapidly, separate departments are created, pushing teams apart. Product and Engineering teams are at arm’s length from sales, customer success and support, they don't have access to customers in the way they once did, and they rely more and more on assumptions, guesses and opinions about what customers and prospects want. Maybe you’ve experienced this?

We're building a system that brings these teams back together. Our product democratises access to what customers and prospects are saying and allows anyone in the business to do their own analysis on the voice of the customer.

With our innovative product recently entering the market, we’re now starting to build our development team. If you’re an experienced Laravel developer eager to apply your skills and creativity to our mission I’d love to hear from you.

The Stack:

  • We’re big fans of the TALL (Tailwind, Alpine, Laravel 10, Livewire) stack, plus PostgreSQL.
  • We have a modular monolithic architecture, with good test coverage.
  • We use tools and services including GitHub, PhpStorm, Sail, Azure, Forge, PHPUnit, Mockery and Larastan.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, improve, debug and maintain our Laravel based web application.
  • Actively participate in the full development life cycle: design, development, quality assurance, and maintenance.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, solve complex problems logically and systematically.
  • Collaborate to translate ideas into unique, human experiences for current and future customers.

Requirements:

  • Must love working with Laravel (and Livewire).
  • In-depth knowledge of the Laravel ecosystem, common packages, and first-party components.
  • Experience integrating with external services via APIs.
  • Experience with LLM prompt engineering and machine learning techniques is a plus.
  • A reflective practitioner with balance between
